Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and state-of-the-art dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist; you are not alone, and our practice puts forth an extra effort to make sure that you are comfortable and happy every time you visit our practice. We are sensitive to your needs as a patient; you can always count on receiving individual attention from our doctor and staff.
Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your dental health. We take your diagnosis very seriously. This level of detail is one of the things that sets us apart from the other dentists in the area.
Your first visit with Drs. Kayne & Tuckman includes:
- A series of high-tech digital X-Rays, including: Intra-oral or Panoramic X-Rays if diagnostically necessary.
- A review of your complete dental and medical history forms.
- Periodontial charting to check the height of the bone, the health of the gums, and the overall support system of your mouth.
- Dental consultation to discuss what your status is, what your diagnosis is, and what your treatment options are.
- Our focus for this visit: Prepare a diagnosis with you and discuss a recommended treatment plan. We will prepare a written treatment plan for you to take home.
We're not going to just look at your teeth, we're also looking at the support system for your teeth. The bottom line is, at Clifton Dental, we take diagnosis very seriously. It is the cornerstone of caring for your whole mouth.
Once Dr. Kayne or Dr. Tuckman has reviewed your dental and medical health history forms, and completed your dental exam, they will provide you with a dental consultation, and information about any additional dental treatments you, or your child, may need. During this time your dentist will also answer any questions you may have. Dr. Kayne and his staff welcome any questions you may have, and are always available to listen to your concerns.
Bring your smile; but also remember to bring these things with you to your first dental appointment:
- Your completed Health History Forms
- Your completed Patient Fun Facts form
- Your insurance card
